During Memorial Day weekend, there were 2 Festivals.
The Greek Festival and the
St. Louis African Arts Festival. My mother and I went to the Greeks Art Festival on Friday and went through and picked up some Greek desserts and various Greek main dishes. We checked out the vendors as well but unfortunately had gotten there so early that we found out the entertainment would not start until 6pm. So we ate some food there and then went back home to put the rest of the food in the fridge.

On Saturday the African Arts Festival began and I always try to go at
least twice out of the 3 day celebration. So my mother and I went in the
afternoon and we went through the vendors like a mini tornado checking
out everything we could. I found some jewelry (no surprise) and a few
skirts and pair of paints. My mom also found some treasures as well.
While there we enjoyed some food, drink and also saw some other family
members. We left earlier than expected though due to the rain clouds
that were coming our way. I also had my camera but unfortunately wasn't
able to take any pics on Saturday. But I'm sure glad I went back
Monday!!! Because I found some more awesome things and took pictures
galore!! All The clothes and the waist beads came from the same vendor and the necklace and other jewelry came from another vendor.
So when I went back on Monday, I picked up a few items already listed above along with something else for my mom. I also took a ton of pictures. Please feel free to check them out below.
Overall had a great Memorial weekend hanging out with my mom. Hopefully you were able to checkout at least one or if you were lucky both festivals.
