Self Reflect - Week 10/11/15

My mind is shitty. Not to mean I have shit for brains, but more to the point, I have issues remembering what I've done earlier in the week, hell sometimes what I did the day before. So I thought I might try this little exercise that will not only keep me HOPEFULLY on task with writing with my blog but to also keep my mind right. Will I remember everything? Nope! But what I will remember I will try to post.

Sooooooo..... Here we go.

On Sunday, I reviewed my packages from Supplement Superstore from Saturday. I decided I needed to really get my workout in gear and decided to buy 3 products that will (hopefully) help me in regards to my weight loss journey. The salesman was really nice and very informative so I decided on a meal replacement option (strawberry), then a whey protein isolate which tastes like my favorite cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch) which will help me to recover on my more strenuous workout days and then a multi-vitamin.

On Monday, back to work a good friend stopped by who is a mentor to one of our students and she also makes soap. Her soaps are AMAZING!!!!! The name of her company is Old Ways Soap. Definitely check her out.

The highlight of my Tuesday was my mom's cooking for lunch. My mom can throw down and trust me when I say that is an understatement.

One of my best friend's birthday was on Wednesday. We met up in the Central West End and I saw these socks from BlueQ in the window of a boutique called Cassie's. I just had to pick them up for my friend. I thought they would go great with the whipped shea butter I made and was also giving as a gift (AllThatMsJazz.biz)

Thursday, See Eye wear was having a trunk show for their October designs. I saw a frame that I thought was promising on Instagram but of course when I tried on in real life, my face swallowed up the darn thangs. So I saw one of my favorite pair of sunglasses (yes the ones above) and tried them on....such lovelies. The only thing I would do is take out the dark lens and put in a slightly more colorful tint and make them a regular pair of glasses. My visions are something to behold....

Friday I was sick, but had an absolute amazing treat being able to chit chat with Mondo Guerra who is an amazing fashion designer who was on Project Runway Season 8 (RUNNER-UP) and Project Runway: All Stars (WINNER). He hit me up out of the blue on Friday and we were chatting it up about his amazing eyewear collection that he has through See Eyewear. When I tell ya I was on cloud nine!!! I don't think that was high enough!!!

Saturday morning I went out to Creve Couer Park and decided I was going to walk the larger section of the Lake. By the time I was done, my body was sore but my spirit was high. Yet I will say my behind was still recouping from it on Sunday.

So that was pretty much my week. Nice recap. Let's see if I can do this again come next week. Shall we?
