FED Cup - Tennis - USA vs. France

It's been a minute since my last post. Been a bit crazy for me in these past 4 weeks, I will definitely try to do better. 

This past weekend my family enjoyed the FED Cup as it stop through Saint Louis for the weekend. My mom is a HUGE tennis fan and we originally were hoping that Serena and Venus Williams would be part of the USA roster but unfortunately they pulled out.

Yet not all hope was lost and we were able to enjoy watching Sloane Stephens and Madison Keys play on both days. We had some really great seats for both days. The first day Sloane lost her match but Madison Keys was the highlight of the day with a great match that went three sets and she pulled off a great win. The second day Sloane was able to pull in a win, but unfortunately Madison lost her's. But when the played doubles, the french ladies were able to pull one over on them. So the cumulative score at the end of Sunday was 3-2 in favor the French team.

Overall we had a great time and even though we had some great seats real close to the court, I decided to move to the seats that were higher because of the better view.

I must say I have a new found respect for tennis players. The precision of the way they have to hit those tennis balls to make a point and the shape you have to be in to run back and forth on the court is definitely not a small feat. My mom is already talking about going to the U.S. Open.....heaven help us:)
