Well this afternoon I finally made it back home from a wonderful family reunion/vacation. Something I was long overdue for this year. This year's family reunion was held in Jacksonville, Florida and we stayed in the Marriott Sawgrass Spa and Resort. My dad, mom and myself headed out of Saint Louis back on July 26th in the morning and after one layover flight we finally made it to Florida by that afternoon. We arrived at our hotel and enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the way. Word to the wise...if you have not stayed at this hotel, DO IT! Beautiful scenery, service was top notch, and the room that I shared with my sister (who with a few difficulties arrived the next day) was beautiful.
Hope all is well with you all. I know it's been minute since my last posting. Just been enjoying my weeks off and somewhat getting ready mentally to go back to work next Tuesday. Around this time tomorrow I will be at the airport getting ready to board a plane for Jacksonville, Florida. I definitely will be taking pictures of the beautiful resort I'll be staying in. I definitely need this time to just get away and think on somethings that have been bothering me for some time. Yet last week I had a weird premonition about these same things that have been bothering me. Maybe a good walk on the beach once I get to Florida will do me some good. Only pain in the ass thing will be is once I get back next week, I start work the following day...yea that's gonna suck! Oh well, I guess I better soak in as much of those sunsets, walks on the beach, and enjoying the ocean as much as I can;)
Today I had the pleasure of going to a Makeup Class that I had been looking forward to since it's announcement a few months back by an amazing woman who I've known since elementary school and at one time I used to babysit along with her brother. She currently lives in Atlanta, GA but her hometown is the good ole STL, MO. Alexandra Butler is simply "that business". Her before and after work on her clients is just quite frankly amazing. The faces that she "beats" are ordinary and she makes them beyond extraordinary.
I've enjoyed video games since the days of Atari. I still own my original Nintendo and still cherish my gold Legend of Zelda cartridge. I also own a PS1, a few PS2's, a PS3, a PSP, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Wii, Nintendo DS, and Sega Dreamcast. Oh and can't forget the original xbox and a xbox 360. My fav games series are the Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft auto, Assassin Creeds, Call of Duty, and Uncharted. Other games I enjoy Red Dead Redemption and mainly other action games. Don't care for video sport games, but I do like sports in real life, go figure. I recently started a crew on Max Payne 3 if ladies are interested in joining, please look up Sistahs 4 Themselves. So if there are any other female gamers out there, please hit a fellow sistah up:)
Wii: Nobody is on that network so there is NO reason for me to give out that long ass number
Well good afternoon:) I hope you are keeping cool in Saint Louis despite this crazy hot triple digit degree weather. I personally have not moved my car since I parked it this past Thursday. So I've been hanging with my mom pretty tough since Friday. On Friday we went to the Saint Louis Mills mall and saw the new Medea movie which I thought was pretty good.
